AboutReqursor Technologies

Built on recursion

Reqursor Technologies is a software company based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We build autonomous software: products that take on real engineering work, within limits you can verify.

The name

Why Reqursor?

Reqursor comes from recursion, the favorite computer science concept of our founders, Maurice and Yassine.

A recursive function is defined in terms of itself. It applies one fixed rule, then calls itself again on the result. The rule never changes, but the input does, so every call produces something new, and step by step a simple rule builds something far larger than a single step could.

That was the idea behind Reqursor from the start: a system that builds new systems, using the same system.

It still describes how we work. Reqursor Development began as the tool we built to help develop our own software. Today it is a product in its own right.

recursion.ts
// One rule, applied to its own output.
function recurse(system: System): System {
  if (system.isComplete()) return system;
  return recurse(system.buildNext());
}

recurse(v1) → recurse(v2) → recurse(v3) → … → done

What we do

Agentic AI,held to engineering standards.

AI agents can plan and carry out multi-step work instead of answering a single prompt. That makes them useful for real engineering, and it makes verification essential.

So we hold AI agents to strict engineering checks: automatic validation, your own tests, independent review and a clear audit trail. The AI does the work; the checks decide whether it ships.

Why now

Attacks outrun people, and AI agents are coming to online shopping

Reqursor Platform is built for two changes at once: the most heavily attacked security flaws are exploited within hours, and traffic from AI agents is growing fast.

Attacks move faster than people

5 hours

median time from disclosure to mass exploitation, for heavily exploited security flaws

  • 11,334

    new security flaws in 2025 in one widely used website platform and its add-ons, up 42% on the year before

  • 46%

    of those flaws had no fix from the developer when they were disclosed

Try it

Patch your stores by hand

36
30 min

10 of 36 stores patched within 5 hours

26 would still be exposed when attacks begin. Patching all 36 by hand takes 18 hours.

One person, one store at a time. These are your numbers, so set them to match your team.

Nobody can patch dozens of stores by hand at that speed.

Sources: Patchstack, February 2026 · Cloudflare Radar, June 2026 · HUMAN Security, March 2026 · McKinsey, October 2025. The 5 hours is a weighted median for the most heavily exploited flaws, not for every flaw. The traffic share counts requests for web pages worldwide. The growth in agent traffic starts from a small base. The 2030 projection assumes moderate adoption and covers goods only, not services or B2B, in dollars as published.

How we make decisions

Four principles shape every product we build.

  • Predictable where it counts

    AI can be creative. Putting its work into production should be predictable, so we turn AI output into steps that can be checked, repeated and reversed.

  • Evidence over claims

    We don't ask you to take our software's word for it. Every change comes with the evidence behind it.

  • People set the direction

    Our software carries out the work. Your team decides what gets built and what gets approved.

  • Clear about status

    We describe what our products do today and say plainly what is still in development.

The team

Founded by two engineers

Reqursor Technologies was founded by Maurice Boendermaker and Yassine Abderrazik, two software engineers who share a fascination with systems that build systems.
